Founded in 2000 by Nilze Chapman (vocal,cavaquinho and bandolim) and Camila Costa (vocal and guitar). Sururu na Roda distinguishes itself with its humorous arrangements and vocal ensemble. The group aims at rescuing Brazilian cultural folk songs. Its repertoire includes - Samba Raiz, Forró, Maxixe, Xote, Marchinhas de Carnaval, Marchinhas Juninas and Serestas.
